Dr. Karl Freiherr von Hahn (until 2024) M.B.A.

Attorney-at-Law | Partner

“From the very beginning, not least because of my training in Fontainebleau, I have also been concerned with business issues. For me, the economic side of the problem is in the foreground. In the case of medium-sized companies, which I often also support as an advisory board or supervisory board member, the requirement is not only for pure legal advice but also support in the formulation and implementation of entrepreneurial strategies.”

Born in Holstein in 1945 and raised in Wiesbaden, Karl von Hahn studied in Hamburg, Heidelberg and Paris, received a scholarship in London from the British Law Society, earned his doctorate in 1970 and his MBA in Fontainebleau in 1974. He is co-author of the “Financial Times Handbook of European Employment Law”, speaks four languages and focuses on tax law in addition to mergers & acquisitions and corporate and commercial law.
